CIS of Atlanta Site Coordinator Helps Students Stay Engaged

With virtual learning becoming the norm for some of our students, our Site Coordinators have had to think creatively about getting their students to participate and stay involved with their work.

Mia, our Site Coordinator at Scott Elementary School, had a face-to-face group meeting with some of her students to help them stay focused in school. She wanted to encourage her students to actively participate and engage with class learning. The students were able to express both their likes and dislikes about school.

The idea behind this is part of a six-week attendance, participation, and engagement session as it relates to virtual learning vs. in-school learning. Our team of Site Coordinators are in schools to fuel ambition!
