CIS of Atlanta Students Create Community Clothing Pantry
The Charles R. Drew High School CIS student group noticed that a large population of CDHS students and families needed assistance with clothing and shoes. So that took action creating a place in the school where families can get fresh clean clothes and shoes.
Students volunteered over 80 hours washing and folding donating clothes and shoes in the school washroom.
In addition to CIS of Atlanta students, the CDHS Football team got involved to help increase items for the male department in the closet. Thank you CIS of Atlanta Site Coordinator Amanda Harrison for showing our students how to lead in action.
