Stanton Receives Certificate of Appreciation

Harper Archer Middle School recently awarded Communities In Schools (CIS) of Atlanta’s Site Coordinator, Alphonso Stanton, with a certificate of appreciation. Stanton, who has been a site coordinator with CIS of Atlanta for one and a half years, ended the 2018 – 2019 academic school year with a caseload of 20 students - all of whom were promoted to high school. Additionally, Stanton’s student suspension rate decreased as attendance and academic improvement rates increased. Stanton was not only recognized for the wraparound student services,such as financial assistance, food and clothing, that he provided to his student caseload, but for also supporting numerous school-oriented functions at Harper Archer Middle School.
