The results are in, and our 2024-2025 school year once again proved giving our most vulnerable students consistent, loving support day after day keeps them on a steady path to graduation and success in life. Through close partnerships with our schools, we are able to celebrate the successes of our students and report the measurable impacts of Communities In Schools of Atlanta. 

 

During the 2024-2025 School Year, CIS of Atlanta served 4,136 case-managed students across 73 schools. Our case-managed student supports were targeted to boost attendance, academics, positive behaviors, family engagement, and basic needs. In addition, a total of 46,259 students benefited from CIS of Atlanta’s school-wide initiatives.

 

We use a Results-Based Accountability method to determine the impact of our programs on our students. Reported results include basic needs provided to entire school populations; therefore, the students and families served include non-caseload students. CIS of Atlanta results also include students’ progress against targeted goals for case-managed students based on individual needs using beginning of the year baselines
