#GivingTuesdayNow! We Celebrate Our Frontline Heroes

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow and we are excited because we are celebrating our very own CIS of Atlanta Frontline Heroes like Nicole Bush, featured in this video. The communities we serve throughout Metro Atlanta have been disproportionately impacted by the health and economic crisis. Today is all about celebrating our unity and support for one another during these challenging times.

Many of us have been able to shelter in place, working safely from our homes and spending more time with our families, but there are students whose only meals come from schools, parents who are unable to work due to restaurant and business closures – and may not be able to pay for rent, utilities or groceries.

We are working with these families every day on the Frontline trying to make sure they can stay afloat until things get better. We need your help to raise funds to better serve our 27,000 students in need during these challenging times.

Here's what your donation can do.

• $25 Provide a grocery store gift card to ONE family.

• $250 Provide a grocery store gift card to TEN families in need.

• $500 Provide assistance with utilities and other essential services.

• $1000 Provide housing assistance, including emergency rent payments.

• $5000 Provide assistance for healthcare needs.
