On the Frontline! CIS of Atlanta Site Coordinator Created Food Pantry for School Community

Whether its food, clothing, or glasses, CIS of Atlanta firmly believes in providing students with the basic needs that can attribute to successful outcomes.

Due to rising poverty levels that are causing economic disparity in our communities, many of our students suffer from food insecurity, and when not resolved, it can be a big barrier to learning.

But in the true spirit of CIS of Atlanta, our Site Coordinator, Joquita Ferguson at CH Gullat Elementary School, established a Food Pantry at the school. Every little bit counts when it comes to helping families who want to feed their children healthy meals. Thank you Joquita for all you’re doing to make the world better a better place.
