Thank you, United Way of Greater Atlanta

CIS of Atlanta students depend on food provided at school to balance food insecurities. As a partner of The United Way of Greater Atlanta, we received over 400 snack bags packed by the Coca Cola Company volunteers.

The healthy snack bags were filled with goldfish, fruit snacks, organic orange juice, and granola bars and were decorated with inspirational messages and fantastic artwork.

The snack bags are part of CIS of Atlanta’s ongoing effort to use campus food pantries to feed Atlanta school students. The pantries highlight the persistent problem of access to healthy food in low-income neighborhoods.

The snack bags will be distributed to four CIS of Atlanta elementary school partners.
