CIS of Atlanta Creating More Mentoring Programs for Young Men of Color
The CIS of Atlanta team works
tirelessly to increase mentoring
opportunities for young men of color through our XY-Zone Initiative.
Through small group discussions we work to empower adolescent males creating bonds of brotherhood and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Quentin Chaney, CIS of Atlanta Site Coordinator at Banneker High School, leads weekly male empowerment discussions for caseload students facing behavior challenges and says, "we provide students with the tools to manage conflict in a positive way."
Our special thanks to Joseph Arrington, an entertainment lawyer who stopped by to motivate students.
