In celebration of Latinx Heritage Month, meet our staff of Latinx background! Jonathan Peraza Campos is a Bilingual Site Coordinator here at Communities In Schools of Atlanta. He is serving at Cross Keys High School in DeKalb County. As someone raised by a single mother from El Salvador, he is proud of his Salvadoran and Guatemalan roots. He is the first in his family to graduate from high school and college graduate. Jonathan graduated from Meadowcreek High School in Gwinnet

Rigoberto "Rigo" Rivera is the Deputy Director of Programs here at Communities In Schools of Atlanta. Rigo was born in Brownsville, TX to immigrant parents from Mexico. They moved to Georgia in 1996 where he was the first in his family to graduate from high school and attend college. He received his BA in Political Science and International Relations from Georgia Gwinnett College and MS in Youth Development Leadership at Clemson University. Rigo has a passion for helping the
