CIS of Atlanta Helps Grieving Family Cover Cost of Funeral

Upon hearing that one of his students lost his father unexpectedly, Felton, our Site Coordinator at Heritage Elementary School, was quick to jump into action to help the young boy. Thanks to Felton’s help, CIS of Atlanta provided financial assistance to the family to help cover the cost of the funeral.

The family delivered a gift to Felton as a gesture of their gratitude of not having to be burdened with financial grief while burying their beloved father.

Felton states, “I often say how grateful I am to be in a position to assist others, and that this is a part of my purpose. CIS of Atlanta continues to amaze me with its meaningful giving and surrounding students with a community of support that is unmatched by any other in my opinion.”
