Special CIS of Atlanta Graduation!

May 11, 2020

This past Friday was monumental. CIS of Atlanta Alumni Association student, Auriana crossed the finish line, beating social and economic odds, to become the first college graduate in her family.

The Forest Park High School graduate virtually received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from the Business School at Howard University.

Prior to her freshman year, with Frank, April, and another student from Forest Park, Auriana was one of 50 students selected to attend the Michelle Obama Beating The Odds Summit at the White House in 2016.

CIS has been with her every step of the way. Auriana has accepted a position with Accenture and will reside in the DMV area. We are so proud of this young lady and thankful to be a part of her journey.

This is why we work so hard to help our students get to the finish line. If you would like to support our important work, click here to donate to our Emergency Fund today.
