CIS of Atlanta Alumni Association Student Travels Abroad

Alumna Maya Schofield, a sophomore at Benedict College, traveled to Israel as part of a study abroad experience provided by the Maccabee Task Force, a nonprofit combating Anti-Semitism on America's college campuses.

Maya traveled with other HBCU students to learn about the culture and history of Israel.

She says, “It was an opportunity for young leaders like myself to create something bigger than ourselves. During the trip, we focused on building a community that impacts the entire nation and the world. I’m forever grateful for this opportunity.”
