CIS of Atlanta Honors Grandparents During Annual Breakfast

September 19, 2019

Grandparents are an important part of our student’s success as they work hard to help them find the resources needed to succeed.

Our Communities in Schools of Atlanta team works closely with the Grandparents of the students we serve and we honored them by hosting the Towers Annual Grandparent’s Breakfast.

Grandparents had a great time as they were served by our students and had a chance to network with other support agencies who highlighted some of the additional resources available to them, including Project Healthy Grandparents, DeKalb County Library, JenCare Medical, and DeKalb County Family Engagement Liaison.

Special thanks to Latoya Maddison, Lisa Wilson, Darrell Smith, The Tower’s staff and culinary department for their support with our annual event.
