Beyond Katrina Conference
On February 20, 2006, Communities In Schools of Atlanta sponsored a conference focusing on Hurricane Katrina. Participants learned about how to help students and caregivers who evacuated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast and are now residing in the Atlanta area.

Chris recently received the 2005 Atlanta Falcons Jr. Community Quarterback Award for his work as Director of the Cardinal Mentoring Program at West End Academy.
